TEIGNMOUTH INTERNATIONAL ART FORUM
There will also be a series of free art workshops and cultural displays celebrating different cultures of the world at the Carlton Theatre from 2-5pm from Sunday 25th- Saturday 30th.May. The workshops are suitable for all ages but each child will have to be accompanied by an adult as they involve sharp scissors, hot wax etc. and young children will need a helping hand. Many of the workshops will be messy so please come in suitable clothes and bring an apron or old shirt.
Sunday 25th- Learn to paint in the style of Russian folk art and /or make a traditional fabric doll.
Monday 26th- Block printing of Tibetan prayer flags.
Tuesday 27th- The French influence
Wednesday 28th – Make a Japanese clay boats and listen to the story of how your worries float away.
Thursday 28th- Colours of the world- African masks
Friday 29th- Japanese clay boats
Saturday 30th – Batik (Wax resist fabric dyeing) influenced by designs of South American Gods
